What we need
Club identity. 114 clubs currently render a generated shield with their tag on it. It works, but it is a placeholder for something with a point of view — and it has to work at 24 pixels in a fixture list as well as full-bleed on a draft night screen.
Matchday graphics. Results, standings, the individual ladder. Things people screenshot and argue about.
The draft show. One night, several hundred people watching the same page. It should feel like an event.
Worth knowing before you apply
We do not publish real club crests and we are not going to — UGL has no licence to reproduce them, and a crest is the clearest part of a club's identity to infringe. So the interesting problem is building identities that are ours, recognisable, and distinct across 114 clubs in six divisions.
Bring work, not a CV. A link to anything you have made is worth more than a paragraph about yourself.
