Format & Rules
Complete schedule, qualifier slots, match selection flow, check-in requirements and payouts for Tekken 8 - Season 1 Qualifiers.
- Match Format & Rounds: Best of 3 Games (Bo3) in VS Mode with 3 out of 5 Rounds per Game and 60-Second round timer.
- Character & Stage Selection: Free character pick on Game 1 with Random stage. Match winner must keep character; loser may counter-pick character with random stage or counter-pick stage.
- Controllers & Equipment: Official DualSense controllers and standard arcade fightsticks permitted. Macro keys, turbo mods, and unverified adapters are strictly prohibited.
- Player Check-In: 10-minute check-in window per scheduled match wave. Late arrivals exceeding 5 minutes forfeit the match.
- Outfits & Customizations: Default character outfits only. Custom presets and stat-altering items are banned.
- Referee Rulings & Payouts: Official on-site referees verify all match outcomes. Prize money is deposited directly to your connected OneApp Lifestyle Wallet.
Prize Payouts
A 5% facilitation fee is deducted from every prize before it is paid.
Prize amounts advertised for this tournament are gross figures: a KES 10,000 prize pays out KES 9,500 to your OneApp wallet. The fee covers running the competition, verifying results and settling winnings.
